First Assignment
Goals
1. Don't get too overwhelmed with the reading by scheduling 30 minutes everyday to do a little bit each day.
2. Observe my 17-year-old brother to see if I can relate what I am learning in class with his behavior even outside of a classroom setting.
3. Check the class website each week as to make sure no assignments are missed, and to keep up on what things are coming next.

For my weekly preparation I am going to schedule one hour and thirty minutes each day to work on reading and completing assignments, if more time is needed I will make those arrangements as they are needed.

Some of the study strategies I will be using are the 4R's for reading, and I am going to try the Cornell method of note-taking, and if that doesn't work I will go back to using small sticky notes and highlighting in my book with different colors that represent different subjects.

The process I will take if I don't understand a concept, is to first go back and review it again. Second, call my friend Ashley and talk with her to see if she can help me gain understanding of the concept, and if that doesn't work I am going to make an appointment with Dr. Cox to see if she can help me figure things out.

I will reach my goals in this course by December 1, 2009.
I just figured out how to set up this blog!
